Christmas Tree Farms

If you’re looking for the complete Clark Griswold tree-buying experience to deck your halls this year, check out our Christmas tree farm guide. Each tree farm has a different variety of trees available and you can even cut your own. With proper care, pines can last for two to three weeks, spruces three to four and firs can last up to a month. Most farms offer saws, hole drilling for tree stands and shaking to remove all the dead needles to provide you the cleanest, ready-to-decorate tree. If you have a favorite farm that’s not listed here, please send me a message and I’ll add it to our list.

Unicorn Hill Farm | 3605 NW 69th Street | Gainesville, FL | Unicorn Hill Farm

Unicorn Hill Christmas Tree Farm, established in 1982, is the oldest Christmas tree farm operating in the Gainesville area.  The farm has provided wonderful experiences and many happy memories for hundreds of families who have made it a tradition to come to the farm to select their Christmas tree.

A stream flows through the farm and provides a woodland setting for you to enjoy. The stream and surrounding wooded areas also provide habitats for raccoon, possum, deer, rabbits, other small animals and many birds including wild turkeys and hawks.

The farm has about 14 acres within which there are 6 acres of trees growing in a natural setting. You are able to select a tree from any one of 5 fields on the farm. We provide help, saws, a tree shaker, and twine if you need it.

Tree Types: Burkii Cedar, Carolina Sapphire, Red Cedar, Sand Pine & Spruce Pine trees this year.

Gibbs Tree Farm | 9740 E Highway 318 | Citra, FL | Gibbs Christmas Tree Farm

Gibbs Christmas Tree Farm is happy to announce our preparation for opening of the 2020 Christmas Tree Season! Amongst a pandemic and many other challenges 2020 has brought, Christmas will still go on! This year we will still offer choose-n-cut Sand Pine trees as well as fresh-cut Fraser Firs from North Carolina. We also offer wreaths and poinsettias to decorate your home to help bring in the holiday cheer! There will be a small petting zoo and mini hay ride for the kids! Hand sanitizer will be available and we will be disinfecting surfaces throughout the day. We hope to see you all this year to continue (or start) your family tradition of choosing your Christmas tree.

Songer's Christmas Tree Farm | 5255 Carter Spencer Road | Middleburg, FL | Songer's Christmas Tree Farm

Make it a family tradition to have a real tree fresh from the farm! Bring your camera and enjoy an outing to our Christmas Tree Farm. You can choose from four varieties of trees. We provide the saws that will easily cut the tree of your choice. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes for walking in the fields where you may encounter holes, stumps, briars, and cactus.

After you cut your tree, we will shake out any loose needles--children love to see their tree "dance" in the shaker. We also have netting available to make your tree easier to handle and a drill if you have a stand with a spike.

Tree Types: Cedar, Sand Pine, Spruce Pine, Carolina Sapphire, Leyland Cypress

Kandy Kane Christmas Treeland | 1001 NE 27th Terrace | Anthony, FL | Kandy Kane Christmas Treeland
