About Denise
I love the natural beauty of Gainesville and I feel lucky to have lived in this community for over 30 years. I moved here in early 1990 when my father retired from the US Navy. After graduating from Gainesville High School in 1993, I attended Queens College, where I played NCAA women’s volleyball and learned the meaning of teamwork, an intrical part of every real estate transaction. Returning to Gainesville, I continued my education at the University of Florida and was hired by the UF Health Science Center. After several years, I chose to put my career on hold while I raised my four children. Currently, I have a Junior at Vanderbilt, a Sophmore at the US Naval Academy, a senior and a freshman at Buchholz High School. While I was raising kids, I entrenched myself in the Gainesville community, volunteering at Children’s Home Society, using my photography skills to capture images of children in need of a family. In addition, I volunteered as a Member of the Board for the Gainesville Fisher House for Veterans, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and with the UF Machen Opportunity Scholars program. In addition, I hosted the Black Tie and Blue Jeans event for the American Cancer Society and I sat on the Board of Trustees at Oak Hall School for six years. Working in these diverse environments has honed my skills in collaboration, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while standing firm in my negotiations. I enjoy working with people and I look forward to helping you make the right move in real estate!
